RULE 92.43
(a) A facility must adopt, implement and enforce a written policy that:
(1) requires a facility employee to successfully complete training in the provision of care to residents with AD or related disorders and
(2) ensure the care and services provided by a facility employee to a resident with AD or a related disorder meet the specific identified needs of the resident relating to the diagnosis of AD or related disorder.

(b) The training required for facility employees under subsection a) (1) of this section must include information about:

(3) Person-centered behavioral interventions and
(4)Communication with a resident with AD or a related disorder.

The following Modules will be covered at these dementia classes: Diagnosis, Prognosis, Treatment, Communication, Feelings, Depression, Repetitive Behavior, Paranoia, Hallucinations, Wandering, Hoarding, Aggressive Behavior, Catastrophic Reactions, Intimacy and Sexuality, Personal Care, Pain, Nutrition, Activities, Environment, Staff and Family Support and Cultural Competence, Spiritual Care and End of Life Issues. Along with the latest State of Texas regulations, with discussions on how to retain employees, those legal issues and forms you must know about, the importance of music in any program and how to market those great programs you have.
